The tick was still alive and had filled up with a whitish tan presumably blood sac on its back. I was driving when I found it actually and was able to get it off with my fingers, this sucka was pretty big. Abby has a small bloody "scar" section under her fur where it was chomping. Im not too worried and just wanted to make sure there isnt any precautionary steps you should take after finding one. |
Yeah, I was always freaked out when I found one on Yuki. I still am!!! Grosses me out, and I've had a few of those suckers come back up from the toilet, so I was always looking back when I used the bathroom 
The scar is normal. At least for me. |
