The little eye patch made me think of Clyde but even their other markings are pretty similar!

Hey, wait another minute.... could this be a long lost brother too?

It's remarkable how similar Barkley's markings are to Clyde's.

I'll bet when he grows up, he'll really look a lot like him since the dark on his head will be a bit less pronounced. Barkley has a better mask than Clyde! How old is he now? Is he greying around the eyes yet?
Barkley was born on June 10, so he was 18 weeks (?) on Saturday.

He was greying around the eyes when we brought him home at 8 weeks old.

He's been greying a lot on his bum and back legs - you can part the hair and see solid grey "roots" about 1/4"-1/2" long. Same with his ears - solid grey roots.

All over the rest of his body the grey is coming in differently - long strands of grey mixed in with the black are coming in - looks like when human hair starts turning grey.

Maybe I'll take some pictures soon. I was surprised at the post about coat changes, because Barkley's really been turning grey since about 3 months old. A lot more hair has been coming out during brushing, but it's still just a handful. I'm sure the coat change will happen much more rapidly and he'll really start blowing coat when he gets to be 6-8 months old.
In this picture he's only 9 weeks old and you can see the grey around his eyes. It's hard to see in most pictures because his nose hair sticks up and covers his eyes.

The face hair turns a lot quicker. I don't think it actually follows the rules of coat change as much as the other parts of the body. Clyde went from dark to light around the eyes starting at about 12 to 13 weeks and now he's coming in a little more dark around the eyes where it was grey before. he just turned 2 so he's going through new changes again himself.

Oh, and his feet turned brown yesterday at doggie day care. :(
