To which political party do you think Ron belongs?

I'm very curious if anyone has a feeling as to what my politics look like?

I don't think that I've ever spelled out my political beliefs on the forum, and I probably won't ever do that. I've made some provocative posts on some provocative issues, but they don't necessarily reflect my actual views; some may, some may not. Even when they do, it's just a snapshot of one view, not of the "whole me."

Yet, one's views do come through in day to day life as well as through posts I suppose.

So, while promising not to tell you the answer, can I still ask you to tell me what you think by voting?

Again, I want to assure everyone that votes are anonymous. The forum tracks IF you have voted in the poll at all, it does not keep track of HOW you voted. Obviously it counts votes for each option, but that is kept separate from the info about IF you have voted.

I think as unbias as you try to be, when you sometimes throw in a devil's advocate point of view, it's how you truly lean. That's just m.o. :)

It's really hard to be part of a discussion and not *hint* towards something you truly feel especially if it's something you feel strongly about. In general.

I'm... conservative republican, but I know that wouldn't surprise anyone who has been in discussion with me on the food for thought board.
I say he is center lined republican...he could teeter one way or the other...but stands by his party...
C'mon, so few votes? I know you guyz know how to vote in these things, there were a million votes for "what's your age."

I'll add a couple of options.
:lmt: I'm still considering my vote on this.
Voted! Just as you won't tell your answer, neither will I!!
Well it's just all over the board to what people think/thought you were. If you didn't vote what I did, you were wrong. hth some people. ;) j/k
From what I've seen of your posts Ron, you appear to be an advocate of limited government and individual rights. (Yay Ron!) I'm going with Libertarian.
no offence ron ... but i dont much care ... frankly i dont think that anyones political veiws can EVER be fully obvious...
Good thing I'm not an egotarian.

;) :D
what is an egotarian ?
It is/was a joke.

A person whose reaction to insult would be to lash out at society, perhaps?

;)
oo ...

well ... joke or not ... i like it .. mind if i ... " adopt " it :P

aka be a theif and call it my own
As long as you give credit to the coiner! lol
*blinks* okie dokie :D
Maybe the etymology and daffynition could be:

Egotarian. N.
Etymology: New Latin, from Latin, I + French égalitaire, from égalité equality, from Latin aequalitat-, aequalitas, from aequalis equal

1) A person who believes their own political beliefs are better than everyone else's.
2) A person who believes everyone is equal, but believes that he is slightly more equal than the rest.

Or something along those lines. ;)
* falls out of chair * slightly MORE equal ...

that is fantastic!
