What's the average age here?

Just curious how old most of us are in here. Thought this was a good way to do it w/o having people actually post their age.

What's funny is this is an anonymous poll, but I bet there's at least one person who doesn't tell the truth about their age. I know I hate telling anyone my age.

What if I'm going to hit the next band in a couple of months?
Oh, then you're considered that age.
I just did hit the next group and boy does it suck!!!
I didn't realize I put 30-35, 35-40, etc...

I can't edit either. ARGH. Wish I could but I guess those people get to decide what group they want to be in.
Oooh definately 21 +++++++++etc etc forever
I'm not saying how old I am but, growing old is not so bad.
It beats the heck out of the alternative!!
Hey looks like I'm the only one that doesn't have to be responsible for what I say (senior moments) :D [Opps, did I say that?]

No, next year sucks. Being "in your thirties" sucks much more than just being 30!

Yep it sure does.

that's how my husband feels although he's already "in" his thirties.
he hates hearing, having to say, or admit to his age.
even more that someone at a store thought he was in his late 30s. Ever since then, he's been wondering whether or not to start using lotion, etc.
Good grief - what happens when you folks turn 40 or in my case 40+
Thanks for fixing the poll! I was hoping someone would for me. :)

Then we'll be in our forties and bummed about that too.

The FIFTIES ain't so hot EITHER
Yeah, thanks for reminding me that I'm MID 40's in just a few weeks. 8O
I'm still voting for the lower number.

Ain't that the truth
Hmmm - I'm really impressed how many "old people" know how to navigate around this site!

Of course I'm just playing . . .

Hey, don't forget, we DID have PONG around when we were younguns'. That taught us how to look at a screen and push buttons at the same time!!!!
Ai-yi-yi!! 8O Can't believe the over 50 crowd is the majority in here!! And although it's not the best age to be, like Angel said - it sure beats the alternative!!

As for us "oldies" being able to navigate the site and use the computer - shush up, youngun!! We may be over 50, but we're not DEAD!! And lest you forget, it was our generation and those even a little older than us who invented rock and roll!!
Well I just turned 40 a few months ago, and don't have a problem with it. I too found it interesting the number of people in the 50 age range. Guess you just "act" younger than you are.
I knew what the average age here was, but that's because we've done threads like this before. However, I ALWAYS have to remind myself who is older than me because you can never tell. My mom doesn't even have a computer.

Um, yeah, but you didn't invent it on a computer. Didn't you guys use guys use rudimentary tools and crudely carved sticks to make your "music?"

And without our "rudimentary tools and crudely carved sticks", where would YOUR music be today? You had to have SOMETHING to build on!!

Just wait! Your day will come - if you're lucky!!

I can only say these things becuae I'm far enough away that you can't reach out and hit me.
and you do deserve to be smacked......lol......

smarty mouth.....
Wow! I'm in the majority!

I'm sorry, Darcy. I shouldn't say things like that to get someone your age all riled up. It could have disastrous results...
I love Butterscotch. Keep it up.
Too funny!!!
Don't worry; she may get all riled up, but older folk tend to forget things quickly.
Someone grab twigs...

Someone grab that long pole..

Someone grab some hemp..

Someone grab Jill...

Someone grab the flint....

Does anyone remember how to start a fire without a lighter?

This witch burning may take a long a bit longer than originally planned
I was wondering what you were going to with the hemp  , then I got to the end of the message!

I'm "on the line" too - come next month I'm over into a more mature group!
I've decided that I don't mind getting older. Of course, it took me 10 years to come to that conclusion.

The only part that really stinks is when you do physical labor all day, like yard work for instance, and that night you ache like you were kicked by a mule.

Heck it looks like most of you arestill babys :D
ROFLMAO You guys are too much!!!

I'm 27 - can't wait until I'm 30. We'll finally get to adopt our little girl then. :)
At 40, someone gave me a cross-stitch of Bears with patches. It says, "After 40, it is just patch, patch, patch.

At 50, someone told me, "Getting older is not all it is cracked up to be! It's the pit's!" (I wasn't impressed)

Now it is 60 and I can honestly say it is the best!!! Retirement means more time for my love, Sadie!

Don't worry if you are in your 20's, 30's . . . you will get there sooner than you think! :D :D :D
Don't be sad when you get older... you get all of these fun games to play.

Too Funny!!

My little boy came over to the computer to see what I was laughing at and he saw your avatar and asked, "Is that a mole?!?", lol.

Haa!

I know, I'm waiting for the day when they start to look like actual puppies. In her pictures now (2 weeks), she looks like a little piglet.
I know it's terrible, but I think it looks like someone is choking the mole!

Aww..my poor Nanny. Maybe that's why her eyes are closed. No, I'm just kidding.

Trust me, as soon as I get a better picture, I'll change it. I get weekly updates from the breeder. She doesn't look too much different right now. She'll be 2 weeks old on Thursday!
It's an adorable picture... I just thought it was funny that he called it a mole... it reminded me of that Austin Powers movie when he keep saying mole over and over, lol
That wasn't a personal jab at Nanny. They all look like moles and piglets at that age! I don't even like to touch them until they're moving around and doing stuff. They weird me out when they're all blind and hairless. :)
Look! Nanny doesn't look like a mole anymore! :)

And she's already got a great sense of humor...probably laughing at the cat because she knows he's going to be mad when she moves in.

She's 3 weeks old today and finally looks like a real puppy. Only 7 more weeks until she comes home!
Yep, she looks like a real puppy now. :D
A really cute puppy too!

BTW - your wedding pictures are wonderful!
Stephanie! Did you just get married??? (I've been looking at your pictures)!
Our 2 year wedding anniversary will be at the end of October. They're not too recent, but I still get excited about my wedding pictures. =)

They're part of a photo slide show screen saver on my computer at work, and half the time when it pops up, I'll start clicking through all the pictures. :)

Someday, I need to make an album. (I hope it's okay that we're still in the "average age" topic... )
No more mole! She's officially graduated to piglet now! Cute. :)
Stephanie, what a cutie pututie!!!!
Awww, Stephanie!!!! How adorable! (but she was still adorable as a mole, too).
I agree! She was an adorable little mole! Someday, I'll show her that picture and say, "You used to be this tiny!!" :)
And she'll say, "Ow ma! Stop embarressing me!"
I was born on April 3rd, 1948 which means I just turned 60 two months ago.

Truthfully, there were times in my life when I was MUCH younger and I felt soooooo much older than I do now.

When someone asks.... I either say 60 (which means I was a teenager in the 60s.... how COOL was that!!!)

OR.... I say:

I'm 16.95 plus shipping and handling.

:)
Hey...I am in the second largest group. 8O
so why is it 5 year increments until 50? as someone in the lower end of that band I find it unsettling...........
This is my first poll since being in my 30's! I'm not too keen on the 30something band :( lol lets go backwards! :D
I don't mind confessing to my age; everyone thinks I look younger, so I'm fine with that!!!!
