Bird-dog?
1. He eats birdseed. 95% of the time I ask "what is he chewing on?" its bird seed that he got off the ground (oliver throws his food all over when hes excited) 2. He gives oliver kisses on the beak and puts his toys on the cage so that oliver will play with him 3. Its customary that if you make popcorn, are eating chips, fruit, or any snacks that the birds get a couple... walter caught onto this real quick and now as soon as he sees someone with a bag of chips he runs to the bird cages, sits and gives paw... 4. he talks to them!! the birds scream and mumble and talk to each other all day, ive gotten used to it and think its pretty fun to listen to them talk. but about a week ago i heard the most god awful noise ive ever heard... sure enough walter is sitting in between the cages howling! i told him 'good dog' because the birds seemed to enjoy it so now walter grumbles and howls non stop at them! so it looks like ive got a bird dog on my hands! |

| That is so funny! My daughter just asked for a bird after the Petco trip....and didn't have a good enough reason fast enough why we just didn't need yet another pet in the house! Nonstop howling? Yeah, that's perfect! Really a cute story! |

| no, no, no, it is the birds who should be mimicking Walter! I knew a household with a macaw and an African Grey and it was a riot. 3 sheepdogs and 2 birds...birds had those dogs wrapped around their feathers. |
