SheepieFest! 3 Roundup

 The weather was perfect. 75 sunny, and breezy. The sheepdogs all
looked gorgeous, and the uprights were fabulous!

When I get some more time, I will write more. I got to meet so many
people and dogs! It was a wonderful day!

And...I'm proud to announce, we raised $625 for NEOESR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woo hoo!!!!!! Let that inspire you to go to the online auction on this
final day, and bid, bid, BID!!!

Here are some picture's my son's girlfriend took yesterday. A lot
are of our family, but there are some terrific ones of the all of the
SheepieFest! folks. So, enjoy. More pictures to come later!

Now, look at the pictures, and then GO BID!!!!

What great pictures! Looks like everyone had a fantastic time!
I posted this over on the "2 days to SheepieFest!" thread....

I wish everyone could have come to SheepieFest! 3. I think this was the best one evah. I would say there were 25 dogs (some didn't stay the whole time) and at least 3 sheepie-less people (me, one lady who lost her dog within the last year and a young woman who had a sheepie as a child and brought her boyfriend to convince him to get a sheepie!). There was a TON of food--pizza, hot dogs, burgers, Polish sausage, chicken sausages, pasta salad, tossed salads, Amanda's homemade salsa (YUM!), brownies, cookies, etc., etc., etc.

The silent auction made over $600 (Deborah has the exact figure) which will be donated to NEOESR. Several items produced bidding wars!

As Stacy said, Gary, Cindy and Cindy's mom Jane drove all the way from Nebraska with their sheepie Maggie. They never see sheepies in Nebraska so wanted to be with "their kind." They win the "we came the farthest" prize. And Cindy brought two items for the auction (one of which I won after a frantic bidding war).

Can't wait til next year!
I wish we could have stayed longer, we had a great time and it was nice to see everyone again! I have a few pictures I will upload later today.
Heather! You were the high bidder on the doggie tin!!! I need your address so I can ship it to you...and of course, I need your check.

It was great to see you, your BF, and of course, lil Walty. Walter is doing great! He's matured so much from our first year. And he sure is beautiful.
Let's see the pictures people!!! Those of us who couldn't be there are nosy!!
THE BEST TIME EVER! Click on my photo album and you'll see a bunch of SheepieFest!3 pictures there.

I'm such a dingaling. I should've just brought Heather's gift home with me and delivered it to her parents  Heather, if you're able to wait, I can get it from Deb in a few weeks and then bring it over. That way noone has to pay for shipping.
You can also see pics at the link I've left in the first post of this topic.

Heather, I'll get the can to Stacy, she'll get it to your parents, but first please get the check to moi

Amanda, those are great! Did you know it was Chelsea's 3rd birthday? And did you know, she and Pirate have the same dad?

At the first SheepieFest! she and Pirate just sorta stuck to each other. They laid down together and watched the world go by. All of their movements were similiar so her upright Karen and started chatting about it. We finally figured out, hey! these guys are brother and sister!!!
Sure looks like everyone had a great time!! Thanks for the pictures!

Congrats on the money raised for rescue!!

I was wondering about that other Izzie as I looked through the pictures. She got so big-- and gray! I'm not gonna show Clyde though because I don't want him to get heartbroken all over again. ;)
Great Photos, what a wonderful day for 2 legged and four paws to go too. Really enjoyed the photos :hearts:

OK did any of the Sheepie Kids get to sample what was cooking on the BBQ LOL 8)
Ray! You son of a gun! You're so fast with the pen and auction sheet! It was fun, and I'm glad you got 2 of my 3 favorite things. I was able to get the one thing I really wanted. The orginal art work from Michelina of our mascot, Rupert.

Tony was glad I got it, too, because I spent a fortune framing it

I love that you are using that great pic from SheepieFest! Its wonderful!
Looks like you had great weather & all had a wonderful time!!

How come this thread isn't in the pix section? I almost missed it. 8O
Wow, Just amazing pictures. I really felt like I was there. That would be total torture because, I'D WANT TO TAKE ALL OF THEM HOME :!:

But, seriously, thank you so much for the invite. I already had a committment but maybe can make it out for another event to share a great time with all of you guys!
