yuck, yuck, yuck . . .
:( Poor Darc!!!!!!

So how long IS IT going to take to get you hot water???????????????????????? Seems like this has been going on for a very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you should take Panda and go check in at the Hyatt!
what the heck happened to the hot water? definitely check into a hotel or go over to Deb's house.
hot water went out...oh 3 weeks BeFORE we went to san diego.....
the a/c guy is here right now...hopefully at least that will get fixed today...brian says tuesday for the hot water....we'll see, we'll see....
I hope things don't happen is 3's, it always does for me :?

Hope your Air con is up and running soon, hot and humid and no Air con, that sucks. :x

Boy what a pain, no Air, no Hot water, sheesh let's hope nothing else happens as it does usually in 3's.
Darcy: I hope your a/c situation is taken care of by now. What a pain in the neck. After Hurricane Frances hit here a few years ago, I was without electricty for two weeks, no air, no running water, stove was electric, no lights ect, so I feel your pain. Hopefully things will get better for you soon.
Darcy, wish I could send Doug over, he'd fix it in a flash!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well...at least with no air conditioning a cold shower would have felt good. :D

  I'm not sure Darcy can see the humor in that A THE MOMENT
Darcy,
You know if you lived closer Billy could have taken care of both your problems. :? I'll try to send over some of the cool weather we are having. It was only 79 degrees yesterday and dropped into the 50's at night. We slept with the windows open. 8)
I hope you were able to get the A/C fixed!
a/c is fixed!!!! keep your fingers crossed for hot water on tuesday...yes tuesday.....sigh!
Wow Darcy, that would suck. I would have checked into a hotel long ago. LOL

I really hope you have hot water soon... that would drive me mental more than no a/c...
oh brother...that sucks. Would be nice if it was convenient for you guys to go to a hotel.

I lived in barracks that were made in WWII, so the water would go out ALL the time. When they decided to replace the pipes, we had to walk a mile to the gym every morning to shower in the middle of winter!!!

That really sucks!!!
Glad you got your AC back. I can't even imagine living here with out it. Good thing you didn't have to wait weeks like you are with your hot water.
What y'all forget is "cold" water in Phoenix is really warm water elsewhere. Because the water lines don't have to be buried as deep, the water actually warms in the pipes in the ground. So Darcy is just being a whimp

No actually the water does need to be warmed a bit for bathing, but there's no such thing as letting the water run to get cold, because it won't!!!
Never knew that. I guess it makes perfect sense though!
I didn't know that either. Darcy is such a whiner then. ;)
UM, Excuse me....BUT......it was okay before we left for San Diego.....but now the days and especially the nights are not hot enough to keep the water warm....last night it got down to 60....and it rained yesterday....so this morning was a freakin' cold cold cold shower!!

I am the first one to admit that Im a whimp.....I agree whole heartedly......but Ill give anyone of you guys $50.00 to take a 10 minute shower at my house and NOT complain.....

and ALSO....dishes....dont forget that...I have to heat water in the microwave to have hot soapy water.....we dont have a dishwasher....so no heating element.....just me.....

I WANT my hot water......

Signed, the biggest sniveler out there!

ps Susan, you and brian would get along fine...he says the water is invigorating.....HA!
You have MY SYMPATHY Darcy. I would absolutely DIE without a hot shower every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WAS KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be miserable if the water here was even luke warm here.

Brrrr! Cold showers are no fun.

We are at a whopping 48 degrees here, gray and windy, so I am already cold. Thank goodness for the little woodstove, because I really don't want to run the furnace if I can avoid it. That's what sweatshirts are for!
Chewie is just loving it, and the min pins are freezing :? .
lol...i know you were kidding....but im telling you after 9 weeks, its not funny anymore.......

for my birthday, im going to ask for an outhouse....i figure it will round things out 8O
OH BOY! I get to take a shower with Brian???

Actually, I've taken cold showers in Phoenix because it took too dang long for the hot water to traverse the house and I didn't want to load up Mom's water bill. Invigoratoring? No, miserable.

Hope you get the hot water back soon.

s.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, Darcy!! Hope you get your new water heater installed tomorrow!! 8)
