Awww... she'll do fine :)
awww. I remember the feeling. I cried when I dropped Callie off at the vet. But don't worry, she'll be fine! Just give her lots of extra love when she comes home.

And remember that you're doing what's best for her... :clappurple: good for you!
Oh I had tears when I dropped her off! haha

Well I just called she is doing fine, phfew!!
Yay!!
WooHoo!!
Look at it as a great opportunity to give her some more TLC :D . Good luck with her recovery and sending a kiss from Chewie!
Well I am taking tomorrow off to give her quite time. She goes to day care every day and the vet thought that would be too much excitement. I guess she had the dry heaves after surgery. No food until tomorrow poor thing.

I keep thinking how will I get her into the car???
Glad to know she came through it ok. Give her some tlc and extra treats and a few extra rubs from us.
Hope she's doing well.

I just had Sophie spayed (decided to go ahead and do it at 6 months) and Sherman neutered 10 days ago. Both walked just fine to the van and jumped in. Actually, if we had let them, they'd have run. We did our best to keep them quiet(er), and cancelled their romps with other pups in the neighborhood. Other than that, and the cone at night, we've had no real adjustments. They have slept more deeply and more this last week. However, today when I got home, they were both really, really rambunctious, even though it was pretty hot after a cool spell. Usually the head tones them down, but not today.

They came home with pain pills and instructions to give them on a schedule, to prevent pain. We did our best to discourage licking, but other than that, I think it was harder on us than on them.

I think my son was the most traumatized. He called from college, full of sympathy he never felt while he was home and the puppies were waking him up at 6 am (or earlier) or getting into his room to chew on his stuff (which should have been put away!).
Glad your little sweetie is fine! I was worried sick too, when my babies had that done. Just limit her activity and hope she feels 100% soon.
I am so tired! They didn't give me pain pills. Wish I would have asked. Of course she doesn't cry not once but alot of heavy panting and restless moving in the crate at night. I am a very light sleeper. But she is back in day care today. Cannot wait to go to bed really ealier tonight!
