This is the webpage for Hunte Corp { who ownes Petland Pet Stores } ... The puppymills and commercial breeders of Missouri and surrounding states are now organized.... A lot of us knew this was in the works... AKC has now signed a contract with Hunte. I don't for the life of me understand why more rescues and Big Dogs are not upset about this....... | Oh I hope that is true. As of last week it was still a go. I think the thought AKC and Puppymills and Commercial Breeders is just Ludicrous.. Anyway, with the Unionization of the Puppymills and Commercial Breeders the damage is done.... Kaye |
| Ron, do you really want this link to stay up? I can see that there is value in avoiding the breeders associated with this organization but the website also lists puppies for sale. Fortunately no OES... yet. |

| Ron I can understand taking it down because there are puppies for sale. I just wanted to point out what Hunte had done with organizing the puppymills and commercial breeders not only in Missouri but other states too. Having the breeders name really doesn't make any difference anyway. These breeders that sell to the publc change their Kennel names as problems with sick puppies become more public.....
