Dewey
and the Sydney, Australia bushfires (wildfires).

"Dewey is sitting on the front porch of a holiday villa on the beach just south from Sydney.
This is the area where the bushfires have hit the worst; they have been blazing since Christmas Eve.
Last night (Jan 6th), 2500 people were evacuated from this area, many houses have been lost. We managed to escape when the roads were reopened to our house in inner Sydney."
